Most snack brands buy whatever the spot market offers. We buy in small lots from a short list of growers we have actually walked around — which costs more, tastes better, and means we can tell you exactly where a pouch came from.

The problem

"Natural" got cheap

Walk down a snack aisle and every other pack says natural, wholesome, real. The word stopped meaning anything because nobody had to prove it. We think the fix is boring and simple: publish the ingredient list, publish where it came from, and let the product carry the claim.

So we buy in small lots. It costs more per kilo, limits how much we can make, and means a flavour sometimes sells out and stays out until the next harvest. We would rather sell out than substitute.

Ingredient standards

The four rules every product has to pass

If a recipe cannot clear all four, we do not sell it. No exceptions, no "cleaning up later".

Readable ingredients

Every ingredient has to be something you could buy in a shop. If a chemist is needed to explain it, it does not go in — no artificial colours, flavours, sweeteners or preservatives.

No added sugar

Snacks are sweetened with fruit, date syrup or maple — nothing refined. Across the snack range added sugar is 0 g. Tea blends contain no sweeteners at all.

Dried, never fried

Freeze-drying and gentle low-temperature drying only. It keeps the colour, the aroma and most of the nutrients, and it is why a 40 g pouch tastes like the fruit it came from.

Traceable to a place

Single-origin fruit and whole-leaf tea, bought in named lots. Every product page tells you where it grew and when it was packed.

Packaging

Plastic-free where it matters most

Tea bags are the quiet plastic problem in this category. Most are heat-sealed with polypropylene, which means they never break down. Ours do not.

Corn-fibre tea bags

Every bag is made from PLA corn-fibre mesh — plastic-free, industrially compostable and heat-sealed without polypropylene. Pyramid shape gives whole-leaf botanicals room to open properly, which is why the blends taste stronger than a flat paper bag ever manages.

Recyclable pouches

Snack pouches are mono-material PE, so they go straight into soft-plastic recycling rather than a landfill. Cartons are FSC-certified and printed with vegetable inks. We are moving the last two lines off mixed laminate in 2026.
